Mini-Review of Johnny Rockets

I've been looking forward to trying Johnny Rockets since it was announce the chain was coming to the park, having never been before.   I am impressed with the attempt to bring something new to the park, and I know it just opened so the crew is still new and inexperienced but I hope things improve.

The food was decent though expensive, but the whole ordering system was chaos, with 2 registers taking orders and sending people with hand written paper tickets to wait at a second counter for their food.   The chaos ensues as there is no order to the pickups...you simply hold your ticket out and when one of the expediters grabs your ticket they assemble your meal.   Tickets are taken randomly from the crowd around the counter as people push their way forward and complain until they get their order filled as others cut in front of them.

I hope this order system improves quickly, as it seems like it will reflect negatively on the park and the Johnny Rockets brand if it continues in this manner.   Also, somewhere the name "Express" should be added to the Johnny Rockets name, letting people who have never been to a JR location that this is not the way all their restaurants are run and all do not have such limited menus.
Nice signs
