Big sales on merchandise all over the park
The park's Terror Trail has been so popular, the line was lengthened to go through the Cemetery, and around the arcade and Teacups Jimmy Neutron came with Nickelodeon

The Dark Knight Coaster Construction

The first real signs of things to come appeared this week, as apparently the survey crews were out setting control setting control points all around the Chiller area so construction can begin as soon as the Chiller is gone.

The lights on the Parachute Tower Cool new Fright Fest bottles, but they don't have any park logos

With the HUGE crowds that were gathering for the Awakening, it makes a lot of sense to move it to the Big Wheel stage where more people can see the show
Johnny Rockets is ready for the long lines It's great to see informative signs More planters
Looks like the orange train is out of commission for the season now The Awakening is now happening at the Big Wheel stage
Chiller Removal Progress

Watch for Fright Fest

full coverage coming next week!
The crowds for Fright Fest opening night were HUGE! Fright Fest hats
Big Wheel as the sun sets Back of the long sleeved T-shirt
The Big Wheel always looks great with the stage lighting for Dead Man's Party The kids design The adult design on a hoodie Front of the long sleeved T-shirt

More of the cobra roll has been removed including the evacuation stairs which have been pulled out of their location and moved off to the side Lots of empty footers where the cobra roll used to be
Like a giant Erector set, it's carefully being disassembled piece by piece, and sent on its way to a new home The spikes have had no visible progress in their removal
The old bolts just get thrown away when a coaster is moved The fabled "Spider of Doom" which seems to perch on rides just before they are removed is on the roof of the Movie Town Water Effect station (though deflated) Who knows how much of this will be gone by next week?
With so much of the structure gone, the view has changed drastically form week to week The stairs moved to the side There a a lot of the little structural pieces to take apart
The evacuation stairs from the cobra roll have been pulled out of the middle of the area and are sitting near Water Effect Getting closer and closer to the tower...

Watch for additional updates coming this week...

Movietown Water effect appears to be closed for the season with the water drained and the boats removed The Steinfigur Garten is still going
Large planters are blocking vehicles from crossing this bridge All eyes are on Chiller for proof of its rumored imminent demise The fence along the lake has been replaced
Interesting to note these signs are attached with very temporary hangers (for quick theme changes?) The giant umbrellas added to Wiggles World give some much needed shade There's a conveyor belt protruding through the wall of the Aqua Stadium for some reason.   It's propped up on on of the old sea lion platforms
