The Kiddie Carousel was added to the park in 1979, as part of Kiddie Kingdom.   The carousel remained in the kids section through the years and name changes, until the end of the 2004 season when Bugs Bunny Land was demolished to make way for the Golden Kingdom.

For the 2005 season, the Carousel was moved to the lakefront where it operated until September 4th, 2005, as the section was closed and the ride was disassembled for the construction of El Toro and Plaza del Carnaval.

The Kiddie Carousel has been known by several names through its life at the park, including:

Kiddie Karousel
Kiddie Carousel
Kip's Kiddie Karousel (Shirt Tales Land)
Tweety Carousel (Looney Tunes Land)
Tweety Round-Up (Bugs Bunny Land & 2005)
