The Carousel

Notes:

The Carousel opened with the park on July 1, 1974

The original steam engine was converted to use compressed air (for safety reasons)

The Carousel originally had a full band organ which was removed due to maintenance issues in the late 1970's

In the 1980's the original running board steps were removed and a concrete platform was added with ramps to increase accessibility and safety

The original onion dome and chimney were removed and several different paint schemes have been used throughout the park's history

The Carousel was known as "Ye Ole Carousel" in the late 1970's and early 1980's
